What’s a Zig without a Zag

I came across the chevron design, and really liked it. What I didn’t like was that it didn’t lend itself to the strip quilting technique, so I ended-up piecing together 504 pieces! I used one of Granny’s hankies in the bottom left corner of the quilt, shown in detail in the right corner of the quilt picture. I donated this quilt to the County of Ventura, Children & Family Services in July 2013.
