Switchbacks

This quilt is the Rail Fence pattern. This is another pattern that I would recommend for someone new to quilting, since it has few intersecting seams.

Aside from sewing, my other two passions are sailing and backpacking. This pattern reminds me a lot of switchbacks on a trail, hence the name Switchbacks. I donated this quilt to the County of Ventura, Children & Family Services, in March 2014.
